One such touch is the Inn's spectacular collection of original artwork of local Nantucket artists, including Paul Galschneider, Paul Arsenault, Bobby Boushan and Robert Stark. While most of the paintings gracing the walls and rooms are part of the owner's personal collection, some are part of the Inn's revolving collection and are available for purchase by guests. |

Our twelve guestrooms are bright and air-conditioned "in season" comfortable with romantic quilted coverlets in the summer months and luxurous Ralph Lauren down comforters during the fall and winter. Many have working fireplaces and/or views of Nantucket Sound. |

The buffet spread in the dining room each morning includes gourmet coffee, juice, fresh fruit, cereals (including our famous homemade granola), scones, and a variety of breads and home-baked muffins or pastries prepared by our pastry chef. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the our Nantucket pattern Wedgewood china (what else?) using our real silverware in the dining room, in our peaceful garden patio, just out the dining room door, or in front of a crackling fire in the living room on chilly mornings. |

Help yourselves to our wonderful home baked afternoon scnacks (also prepared by our pastry chef) when you return from you island gallivanting each day. Enjoy the luxury and elegance of our regularly scheduled afternoon teas, featuring scones and pastries as well as finger sandwiches. |

In additional to the above, we sometimes offer wine and cheese in the afternoon, in lieu of the pastries. Many guests take their treats out to the garden patio, to the chaises in the back yard or to the widows walk, where they can got to enjoy a peaceful spell reading, chatting with friends or merely enjoying the natural beauty of our colorful gardens or of Nantucket's historic harbor. Yet another plus is the beautiful widow's walk, where lucky guests can go to enjoy a peaceful spell gazing into Nantucket's historic harbor. |
